Welcome
The Parish Church of All Saints Weston (map), often called the White Church By The Pond, is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Guildford (see Links) and serves the community of Weston Green which borders Esher, Hinchley Wood, Thames Ditton and East Molesey. This website has been set up to let you know what is happening at our Church, but it is no substitute for the real thing!
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." (Act 2:42)

VAT on listed buildings - SIGN THE E-PETITION NOW
The Government proposed in its Budget in March to impose VAT on alterations to listed places of worship. 45% of the Grade 1 listed buildings in Britain are believed to be churches. If the move goes ahead, from October this year it is likely to cost Church of England congregations who raise money for their churches an extra £20m a year. It may deter some parishes from undertaking building projects at all.
The Church of England has set up an e-petition on the direct.gov website to put pressure on the Government to change its mind. It needs 100,000 signatures to have a chance of this petition being debated in Parliament.
Please help to bring back zero-rate VAT on alterations to listed church buildings by signing the petition before 30 June. The web address for the petition is: https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/32229
