The Revd. Phillip Johnson

The Revd. Phillip Johnson accepted the post of vicar of All Saints as from 26th July  2011.

Phillip originally trained as an actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in North London where he met Tracey who was studying to be a Lighting Designer on the Technical Theatre course. Phillip worked as both a professional actor and a theatre director for a number of years before going into teaching full time, first at Drama School and University and then in Secondary Education. He trained for the ministry at Ripon College Cuddesdon, and completed his title curacy in the Parish of Cheam in the Diocese of Southwark.

Tracey and Phillip have been married since 2001 and have two cats, Molly and Flora, and a pony called Dennis. Tracey works as the Production Manager at Queen Mary, University of London, as well as doing freelance Lighting Design work. She also (along with Dennis) competes in competition Carriage Driving and loves cooking. Phillip is particularly interested in theatre and music, children’s spirituality, community mission, and Real Ale.
